過去の日付を指定して、その日にどんな出来事があったかをGoogleを利用して調べるサービスです。

Google Date lets you enter a date and then searches using Google for what happened on that date and shows three results.

検索結果は3件表示されます。また、検索時にキーワードの指定も可です。


例えば、今から100年前の出来事を検索してみると、

On january 26 1906, the following events occured:

  • The Stanley racer was driven by Fred Marriott (note spelling) to a new land speed record in the mile at 127.66 mph on January 26, 1906 . Marriott also set a new world's record at the kilometer distance at 121. ( source )
