プロの写真家でなくても、誰でも写真をアップロードして売買することができます。

Spy Media International is the first news photo marketplace for everyone. Spy Media is simple and easy to use, as users can upload and sell electronic photos from their cameras and phones in less than 90 seconds.

サイト上部の『Search』メニューで、実際にどんな写真が売買されてるかが分かります。

写真は何でも売買できるわけではなく、まずジャンルは次の5つである必要があります。

  • Entertainment
  • Historical
  • News Event
  • Sports
  • Natural Disasters

そして肝心なのは写真の質。

The only requirement Spy Media has is that images must be newsworthy.

とあるように、あくまで『報道価値』のある写真でないとダメなようです。


写真に付ける値段は、そのライセンスの種類に応じて設定することもできます。

  • Exclusive - Buyer is given all rights to the photo.
  • 30 Day Exclusive - Buyer can use the photo exclusively for 30 days from the completion of the sale. After this period the buyer is given non-exclusive rights for 11 months.
  • Non-Exclusive - Buyer can use the photo for 12 months in publications. Buyer is not allowed to resell to other parties.
  • Personal - Buyer can use the photo for their own personal use. Photo is not allowed to be used in publications.

Exclusiveになるほど値段が高くなるようです。
実際の値段はアカウントを作成しないと確認できませんが、
試しに見てみたところ、大体は数十ドルで売買されてるようです。
サッカー選手の写真になると、Exclusiveライセンスで$100の値段がつけられてました。
