Gmailに休暇中の自動レスポンス機能が付いてた - Vacation responder

休暇中でインターネットに接続できないといった場合に、メールの返信を自動で行ってくれる機能がGmailに付いてました。

Vacation responder:

(sends an automated reply to incoming messages. If a contact sends you several messages, this automated reply will be sent at most once every 4 days)

設定方法は、
1.　Gmailにログイン
2.　「Settings」タブをクリック
3.　「General」タブにある「Vacation responder」項目を参照し、Vacation responderのon/offを選択
4.　「Subject」と「Message」を入力
5.　Contactsに登録されている人のみに返信するかを選択
6.　変更を保存
となります。
Vacation responderを有効にすると、Gmail画面の上部に機能が有効になっていることを示すバナーが表示されます。
休暇が終わって機能を無効にしたい場合は、そのバナーにある「end now」をクリックすればOK。

ちなみにGmailの設定で使用言語を「日本語」にしているとVacation responder機能が設定タブに表示されませんでした。
私の場合はEnglish(US)を選択したところ機能が表示されました。
そのうち日本語にも対応するのではないでしょうか。
